Welcome to my ACH Fundraising Page!

Please help me raise (at least) $100 for an institution that I cannont praise enough. In 2018, Arkansas Children's Hosptial became an intrigal part of my family's life when my grandaugher Bowie Alexandria Kirby entered the world. She was born January 5 at UAMS but was soon transferred to ACH when her doctors determined that she was born with a severe congential heart defect, as well as Turner Syndrome.
For 131 days, Bowie was a patient in Arkansas Children's Hospital's cardio vascular intensive care unit. And even though she was able to go home, she did have to return a couple of times for illness and complications associated with her CHD. Bowie's condition was a complicated one. She baffled her team of doctors on a daily basis but they didn't let that stop them. They continued to do everything in their power to try and make her better. Unfortunately, Bowie's medical issues where more than she could overcome and she went to her heavenly home on October 22. We were devastated, but we took comfort in the fact that Bowie was a fighter. She was sassy, stubborn and she was always the one in charge. She never let us forget it! She quickly became a huge presence in our lives. She was our hero and a true heart warrior. She changed our world for the better and even though she was only here for 9 short months, she taught us invaluable life lessons and left us with a lifetime of memories.
I — along with the rest of Bowie's family — am so eternally grateful for the care she received at ACH. We could not have asked for more from her team of physicians, nurses, caregivers and all the support staff that helped during every single step of Bowie's journey. When I tell you this hospital is amazing and works miracles daily, it's no joke. ACH deserves every single penny that is donated. I want to help them continue to fight for the health and wellness of the children of Arkansas!
